Weed Control

Weed Control
Weeds are difficult to control in the lawn as often seeds are blown in from the wind, or coming in from neighbouring properties, or dropped by birds; some seeds even lay dormant in the lawn until the weather is better.
Keeping your own garden borders weed-free also prevents seeds from dropping and blowing onto the lawn, along with having a well maintained thick dense lawn makes it harder for weeds to establish themselves compared to a thinned out lawn with bare patches.
We apply a blanket selective lawn weed treatment on the first treatment to the entire lawn, which targets the weeds but won’t harm the grass; this usually tackles common weeds such as dandelions, clover, daisies, and plantain.
The list of harder-to-remove weeds is too extensive to list, but likes of woodrush, yarrow, and speedwell often require several more treatments.
Weed treatments are included free as part of an annual lawn treatment and, if required, applied twice a year.
