ANNUAL LAWN TREATMENT PLANS START FROM £30 PER VISIT

Lawn Treatments

Our Standard lawn treatment plan starts with the required basics consisting of four visits throughout the year, which covers feeding of lawns to provide your lawns with a balanced and consistent intake of nutrients throughout the different seasons in the year, and also includes treatment of weeds appearing within your lawns if required.

Spring (March – April)
Treatment 1 of the annual lawn care program will be carried out by giving your lawn a much needed boost after laying dormant over the winter period. This treatment involves applying an early spring granular fertiliser to your lawn, encouraging strong healthy growth and green up of the grass ready for spring.

Early Summer (May – July)
Treatment 2 of the annual lawn care program will be carried out by applying a fertiliser specially formed to with stand high temperatures usually occurring this time of year, and is designed to give your lawn the necessary nourishment to develop a strong and healthy green sward. In addition, on inspecting your lawn, if we notice any visible weeds in the lawn we shall apply the first of two liquid selective herbicides to tackle any weeds.

Late Summer (July – September)
Treatment 3 of the annual lawn care programme, during this time of year when droughts and high temperatures usually occur, causing a lot of stress within the lawn along with the lack of rain fall. To ensure that your lawn remains healthy and vibrant during this period, an application of a specialised non-scorch lawn fertiliser will be applied to your lawn that has been specifically formulated for use in these conditions when most other fertilisers cannot be used. In addition, on inspecting your lawn, if we notice any visible weeds in the lawn we shall apply a final liquid selective herbicide to tackle any weeds.

Autumn/Winter (September – November)
Treatment 4, and the final treatment of the annual lawn care programme, during this time of year is designed to keep your lawn looking healthy and preparing for the colder and wetter months ahead. This will involve applying either a liquid or granular treatment to your lawn containing iron which focuses on strengthening the roots of the grass when the grass plant becomes more dormant and becomes more vulnerable to damage and disease, along with controlling moss.

We also recommend having your lawns scarified and aerated annually to remove accumulated thatch and moss, which prevents suffocating the grass and blocking essential air, water, and nutrients from reaching the grass roots, along with reducing soil compaction.

If your lawn is damaged or has underlying issues such as soil compaction, moss or weed infestation, or poor growth, then a lawn renovation would be highly recommended to address any underlying issues and to ensure you obtain the best results of any annual lawn treatment plan to maintain your lawn’s health and appearance.

Our lawn care programmes are not only tailored to your lawn’s needs but can also be tailored to your budget.
