Lawn Renovation
If your lawn is affected by poor growth, compaction, excessive thatch, moss, or has become thin and patchy or damaged, then this multi-step lawn renovation is the best solution to bring your lawn back to life.
Depending on the requirements, a typical lawn renovation would involve the following processes:scarification, aeration, topdressing & overseeding, along with some pre-treatments and additional treatments during and afterwards.
A typical process would be:
1. Pre-treating moss or weeds in advance.
2. Mowing the lawn short prior to carrying out aeration & scarification.
3. Solid tine, slit tine or hollow tine aeration
3.Clearing the lawn of any debri from aeration works
4. Scarification of the lawn
5. Clearing the lawn of any thatch/moss removed
6. Second scarification
7. Clearing the lawn of any thatch/moss removed
8.Depending on levels of thatch/moss, steps 4&5 may be repeated further
10. Mow the lawn to pick up any fine debri left on the surface
10. Apply a water conserver plus any further required treatments
11. Apply pre seed fertiliser
12. Apply Grass seed
13. Apply top dressing and spread evenly into the lawn
15. Water the lawn
It is essential that for a period of six weeks after works are completed, the customer waters daily to aid seed germination and grass growth; for this, a suitable-sized sprinkler would be deemed essential for ease of daily watering.
Full watering and aftercare instructions are given upon completion.
