Soil Conditioners

Soil conditioning carries many different treatment methods, such as granular or liquid treatments to introducing organic topdressing into the lawn, to improve the soil quality and structure. Depending on the issues with the soil will determine the treatment carried out.

Soil conditioners are usually best applied alongside and in addition to lawn aeration.

A few examples of when soil conditioners are required:

• compacted or clay soil

• poor drainage

• sandy soil not retaining water

• yellowing or stressed lawn
